Captains' Charity
SASH Charity
(Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust)
Our Club Captains for 2020 & 2021, Cherie Banfield and Richard Harrington were privileged and delighted to have chosen SASH as their preferred charity for the last two years, and the Club's contribution to this extremely worthwhile cause was handed over to Andrew Bickerdike, fundraising manager of SASH on Tuesday 9th November 2021 at our Clubhouse, and totalled, ££726.38.
Horley Bowling Club has a proud tradition of sponsoring charitable organizations and SASH is the latest agency that it has helped, in a small way, to fund their excellent work.
Many of our members will not be unfamiliar with East Surrey Hospital, and some of us might not be bowling today if it were not for the fantastic care they have received from the staff within the Trust in general, and from East Surrey Hospital in particular

SASH Charity supports Surrey and Sussex NHS Healthcare Trust to enhance the care our community receives.
All healthcare services are funded from central government and the Trust endeavours to provide the highest level of service to its patients. However, voluntary donations can really help them provide that little bit extra such as additional medical equipment, medical research, specialist training and improvements to patient facilities. They often receive donations from grateful patients and relatives after treatment.
